As many other companies, Petit Lulu came into existence out of lack on the market. Lack of good quality and reasonable priced cloth nappies in the time when Lucie was about to give birth to her first child Vojta (2012). Even if she had never sewn before, Lucie made for him the complete layette by herself.

Everyone around just fell in love with her nappies, so, out of curiosity, she posted some of her products on Fler.cz – a Czech online market of handmade products. Of course, it was a success !!! Her husband Lukas was fully supporting her from the beginning, and he shortly became, among others, the graphic designer, e-shop creator, technical manager…
